We just finished our AYSO soccer’s  season, and it ended up being lots of fun. My wife volunteered me as a coach, and regardless of all my childhood years of kicking a ball, I had never coached before; even les a bunch of 8 years old brats.

Despise a rough beginning where we lost a couple of games for a big score difference, I kept with my practice exercises and the kids start growing incredibly.
I was socked and in awe, when the last two games they were able to play like a team, passing the ball to each other and making some darn good plays (we won the last two for a score of 8-0 and 14-0… in AYSO we don’t keep score ok?).

The kids all received a trophy, and I did a personal cartoon characters for each of them, which I framed and gave them as a thank you for the wonderful season I had with them.

To my surprise (and I don’t know why) I’ve found the Public Library of Riverside, California has a great collection of Graphic Novels, and comics.

Every time I visit the library, I end up taking 9 books to read (that’s the limit) to find out the next time I come back that they still have more. I made a list of the graphic novels I’ve read from the library. I may have missed a couple, but pretty much this is it.
